There will be occasions when employees will have a right to be redeployed. This may occur when; a redundancy situation emerges during an organisational change exercise, a fixed term contract ends due to redundancy, or there is occupational health advice to this effect. The council may also encourage supported redeployment because of a specific business need, or some other appropriate circumstance.
